Did you tell the sisters, or Master Blue themselves, what you saw after that experience? [A beat.] And did you feel... exhausted when Beauregard-san found you? Mentally, and physically?
I wasn't aware I could speak with them, at the time...
[he might sound mildly annoyed about it.]
But I didn't speak with the girls, either. Just a few of us, to discuss what it might have meant. [and he adds, a moment later-] The exhaustion is why Beau needed to carry me, yes.
Oh, I've spoken to them since-- but considering someone's already warned me off using the room again and said it was their advice, I assumed they'd heard about it.
[he just sort of shrugs, at that.]
I think it did mean something, though. It's probably more likely to twist the truth than outright lie-- that's usually the most effective.
I was told that room's the only one that showed up as red when seen through one of the items here, too, so I... thought it was very likely to be related to the source, if it's not the source itself.
Mm... well, first, I asked if they knew much about what to expect when it comes to separation efforts. I'm not used to anything on that scale coming without a cost, but they weren't sure if it would or not. They just said they're both difficult to kill, separation would be best, and they'd like to avoid more losses... oh, and I tried to confirm whether we'd lost the help master Wright was providing, though all they said on that was that hope is never lost. I know we've found out we're all right since then, but I'm still working on finding who they actually are.
[he's got thoughts, but they're only that. just thoughts so far.
he taps his fan against his chin; he seems to have just accepted this fan will need a lot of cleaning later.]
They find the experiences and feelings of people interesting, they observe souls, they have trouble making connections. They're the more optimistic type, but they're stubborn, and at least partly motivated by anger when it comes to all this even if they don't seem to show it. [he sounds somewhat pleased at that? nhs kins.] They do think we're doing better, though didn't say in comparison to what, and said multiple times to be careful. Proud of the girls, as well-- they want us to be nice to them.
... I assume they mean in comparison to the previous groups. Based on my conversation with them, we're the only group who has made it this far. All the others perished before they could reach this stage. [He sounds a bit uncertain as he adds this next part, but.] Master Blue has high hopes for us.
[Master Blue has bad taste, unfortunately. They are all fools who may or may not bad end the game soon.]
About that person... Have you made any progress with your search? It seems that we've upset them in some way. But I still think we would have better luck unlocking the truth behind this house if we could simply speak to them, without any pretenses.
Personally, I think it's likely to be someone who knew about the plan to speak with the house. Akira told me about it, over the weekend-- I asked him to have contingencies in place and expect anyone involved to be under closer examination this weekend. Directly contacting the thing using some of us as hosts seemed to be a risk, so examining one of you would have been a good choice.
[that definitely sounded like a way to get cursed? that's how you get fucking CURSED.]
It's not a small enough list to narrow it down as much as I'd like, but small enough to work with, and includes someone I already thought could be involved.
... It's not a bad theory. Certainly one worth investigating, if nothing else. Although, I don't know who Akira or Luna spoke to before we entered that room. I will have to speak to them to build a list of those who knew about our plan.
[They sure did get cursed! It's fine? It's fine. Akechi just has sleepy bitch syndrome now.]
Who do you already think could be involved? It sounds like you have a list of suspects already in mind.
Ah- now that you mention it, I do only have his list. I haven't ever spoken much to miss Luna, so it'd be a little odd to ask that of her.
[he's just been getting akira to deet him instead and that's fine.]
Speaking of her, though, she did say that she'd brought up the possibility of them being unable to just admit to it before, didn't she? [he shrugs slightly, there.] Reasonable enough to guess at, but if someone was already aware of that...
[it's a good way to float the possibility with everyone else, huh.]
To be blunt... I don't think Luna has what it takes to continuously lie about her involvement. She seems like the type who would be quickly worn down by such things.
[Well... More worn down than she currently is. Someone please save their doctor.]
Personally, I suspect Carbide-san. Although, that's entirely based on the crass type of humor I expect from someone like him.

[Ring the bell, NHS. Live your best life.]
I wonder if the sight you saw had any meaning, or if the house was simply playing a trick on you. Did you come to any conclusions by yourself?

[The rest lines up with what he knows, so he isn't too surprised, but...]
I'd like to hear the details of your conversation with them, if you don't mind.

[a slight little smile, there.]
They're not bad at all, after the initial-- adjustment. A little cryptic, but I like them well enough.

[Master Blue, your words. Use them more.]
But, I'm still interested in knowing what you learned. All things considered, even information on Master Blue themselves may be of use to us.

I think that's really about all there was.

You think Luna is the person who worked with Phoenix-san?
[Incredulously, like that doesn't fit at all with his vision of reality.]
no subject
[he tilts his head, curiously.]
Why? I don't suppose you know otherwise after all?
[he does have other thoughts, but first he wants to know if akechi is just surprised he didn't pick someone else first.]
